First Gold Gaming Resort in Deadwood, SD is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Travelodge Front Desk Agent/Gift Shop Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests checking in and out of the Travelodge hotel, as well as assisting customers in the gift shop with their purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely manner
• Handle cash and credit card transactions at the front desk and gift shop
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
• Stock and restock merchandise in the gift shop
• Provide assistance to guests with gift selections and purchases
• Handle any guest complaints or issues with patience and professionalism
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager
• Swing shift 5 - 8 hour shifts
• Must work weekends

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of the Deadwood area and its attractions is a plus
