Night Auditor & Hotel Guest Services Representative

Are you friendly, dependable, and comfortable working independently overnight? Travelodge by Wyndham at First Gold Gaming Resort is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Night Auditor & Guest Services Representative to join our team in Deadwood, South Dakota.

This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming guest experience while ensuring nightly hotel operations and financial transactions are completed accurately.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests with friendly and professional customer service
• Check hotel guests in and out efficiently
• Process guest payments and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Accurately enter and manage hotel reservations
• Balance and verify daily hotel transactions and shift reports
• Reconcile nightly credit card transactions
• Post charges, payments, and credits to guest accounts
• Complete nightly audit reports and ensure all transactions balance correctly
• Provide guests with local area, tourism, and special event information
• Assist with gift shop sales, stocking, and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and hotel leadership to support smooth hotel operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized overnight
• Comfortable using computers and hotel reservation systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
• Previous hotel front desk, night audit, cashier, or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to stand and perform front desk duties throughout scheduled shifts
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
• Must be eligible to obtain a South Dakota Gaming License
